How To Use The Path Eraser, Join Tool And Shaper Tool In Adobe Illustrator

In this tutorial I will teach you how to use three useful tools in Adobe Illustrator, namely the path eraser, join and shaper tool. Let’s begin.

Step 1:

Select the object.

Step 2:

Choose the Path Eraser tool.

Step 3:

Drag the tool along the path section you wish to delete. Use a single, smooth dragging motion for the greatest results.

Step 4:

At the bottom of the Basic toolbar, click the Edit Toolbar icon (three dots). The All Tools drawer emerges, including all of Illustrator’s tools. You may nest the Join tool by dragging it anywhere on the toolbar or onto a tool group. For the time being, drag it to the bottom of the toolbar.

Step 5:

(Shift+N) choose the Shaper tool.

Step 6:

Create a shape in the document. Draw a crude depiction of a rectangle, circle, ellipse, triangle, or any polygon, for example.

Step 7:

The shape you create is transformed into a clean geometric shape. The generated form is Live and completely modifiable, just like any other Live shape.
