To make changes to your artwork with Adobe Illustrator, use specialised tools and easy instructions. The three tools will now be linked to the whole drawing. I will teach you how to easily cut images in Illustrator.
Step 1:
If required, choose View > Zoom In to enlarge the artwork.
Step 2:
Let us draw some lines around the semicircular form to make it into a frilly fin. Hold down the Eraser tool while selecting the Knife tool.
Step 3:
Drag a succession of straight lines with Alt (Windows) or Option (MacOS). To create a straight cut, start outside the semicircle’s boundary and release your mouse anywhere within the semicircle.
Step 4:
In the Tools panel, press A or choose the Direct Selection tool. Curve all the live edges by dragging one of the live corners as illustrated.
Step 5:
We will design a tiny mouth using the Knife tool once again. As illustrated, draw a continuous, freeform line down the base of the bigger triangle. In the Tools panel, choose the Direct Selection tool.
Step 6:
Deselect by clicking away, and then select the tiny triangle by clicking just the straight-line section. To make an open mouth, press Delete.
