How To Use Shapes And Colours In Adobe InDesign?

What good is a graphic design without proper shapes and colours? All graphic design applications provide sufficient freedom to users for using shapes and colours. InDesign is no exception to that, let’s see how you can use shapes and colours in Adobe InDesign.

Step 1:

You will have ellipse, polygonal and rectangular shapes on the left side bar in InDesign.
Step 2:

Use the respective shape and drag it on your page.

Step 3:

On the right you can click on swatches and select CMYK/RGB for filling with the colour of your choice.

Step 4:

In the properties tab on the right side, you can fill, stroke, or crop your shape with specific corners.

Step 5:

On the right side, you can opt for Adobe Colour themes for pre-made colour themes by Adobe.

Step 6:

Make sure to select CMYK for print.
