How to use mock-up in Photoshop?

Product mock-ups are an important component of presenting ideas, generating revenue, and even brainstorming new ideas and product capabilities for small company owners. Whether you want to utilize your mock-ups in a boardroom or on a billboard, demonstrating your product in motion is a fantastic way to get people interested. Let’s see how you can use a mock-up in Adobe Photoshop.

Step 1:

Open Adobe Photoshop and get your backdrop stock picture.

Step 2:

In the toolbar, choose the “Shape” tool and draw a basic shape. It does not have to be precisely aligned, but it should completely cover the figure.

Step 3:

Make your form into a Smart Object.

Step 4:

Using the “Transform tool,” we will now make our Smart Object fit the monitor screen in the picture. To begin altering the shape of your Smart Object, go to Edit > Transform > Distort.

Step 5:

Finally, add your real product picture to the mock-up. To begin, in the layers panel, double-click on your Smart Object Thumbnail. FILE > OPEN your product picture in Photoshop. Now, using the “Move” tool, drag and drop your new picture onto this screen.
