Adobe Illustrator’s Picture Trace tool is a fast method to transform your image to vector format for high-quality printing at any scale.
Step 1
In Adobe Illustrator, open the picture and go to Window > Image Trace.
The Image Trace panel will appear as a result of this.
Step 2
Check the Preview box once you have chosen the picture. This will offer you a live preview of your vector picture. Do not be concerned if it does not seem perfect right away – there are still more stages to go!
Step 3
Navigate to the Option drop-down menu and choose the mode that best fits your design.
Step 4
Adjust the Colours, Greys, or Threshold sliders next. This slider will vary based on the mode you choose, but the operation of the three sliders stays the same.
Colours – The maximum number of colours that may be utilised for tracing.
Grayscale precision ranging from 0 to 100.
Pixels that are darker than the threshold value are transformed to black
If you set it too low, your picture may become too bland. And if this is set too high, your picture may become too complicated. This, however, is entirely dependent on your distinct image.
Step 5
To bring up additional choices, toggle the Advanced menu down.
