How To Use Effects In Adobe InDesign?

Effects provide the necessary panache to a graphic illustration. An image without effects can seem dull and boring. Which is the farthest thing we want when creating graphics. Let’s see how you can use effects to make your design appealing in Adobe InDesign.

Step 1:

Click on ‘Windows’ in the top panel and click on ‘Effects’ in the drop-down menu.

Step 2:

Choose the effect of your choice and an additional panel with settings specific to that effect will appear.

Step 3:

Make sure to tick the ‘preview’ box to make sure you can view the changes you will be applying before they are applied.

Step 4:

Experiment with different effects and press ‘Enter’ to apply the desired effect on your images.

Step 5:

Do not overdo effects and make sure there is optimum effect to make the illustration appealing to the audience.
