Splitting and dividing text in Illustrator to allow you to edit each letter separately. You must construct distinct text objects for each character if you want each character to be a separate object. In the end you can add a gradient mentioned in the previous tutorials. Let’s begin!
Step 1:
Open a document in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 2:
Add the text of your desire and hold shift to increase it in size.
Step 3:
Type > Create Outlines will transform the text object to vector shapes, which may subsequently be edited individually.
Step 4:
Object > Expand converts text in an envelope to vector shapes, which may subsequently be individually edited.
