You can easily stretch an image to create amazing background using text effects. Let’s see how you can do it.
STEP 1:
Create a new layer in Photoshop using a photograph of a model. Then, above the Background layer, create a blank layer and right-click to convert it to a smart object.
STEP 2:
Using the Single Row Marquee tool, select the Jump layer and pick an intriguing area in the picture. He then duplicated the selection.
STEP 3:
To apply the stretch effect, open the smart object layer by double-clicking it and pasting the selection. He then turned the selection 90 degrees using the Move tool with Show Transform Controls enabled. He dragged to extend the selection, pushed it to the top, and saved the effect before closing the Smart Object window.
STEP 4:
To finish the composition, add a layer mask to the smart object layer and use a black brush to paint over the mask to conceal parts of the stretched effect.
