Styles are extremely useful in Adobe InDesign. You can create a custom character style for your paragraphs or headings and apply them to any text on the document. In this tutorial, we will teach you how to utilize this wonderful feature in Adobe InDesign.
Step 1:
Click on ‘Window’ in the top panel and click on Styles in the drop-down menu.
Step 2:
Use both character and paragraph style panels and drag them to the right panel space to navigate them easily later on.
Step 3:
Double click on Character Style and name it.
Step 4:
Select the format and fonts for your characters.
Step 5:
The character style is now saved on the document and you can repeat that format for other text as well.
Step 6:
If you change the Character Style, all headings with the applied setting will change.
