Graphic Design Lesson Examples with Adobe Programs

How To Make Advertisement In Adobe Photoshop?

This is a lesson on how to create a banner ad in Photoshop using your product pictures. Once you have designed a banner with Photoshop, you can easily switch out pictures and text for subsequent banners. This blog will demonstrate how to add an image, text, and a button to a banner.

Step 1:

Navigate to File > New.

Select ‘Web’ in the resulting box and input dimensions of 300 x 250 pixels. This is a common banner size. When you click ‘Create,’ a fresh blank picture appears.

Step 2:

Navigate to File > Open and choose one of your product pictures for the banner.

Step 3:

Then go to Window > Arrange > Vertically Tile All. This compares the picture with the banner template.

Step 4:

Go to Edit > Free Transform to resize your product picture to fit the banner. This will add marks to the perimeter of your product picture that you may use to resize it. Additionally, this enables you to reposition your product wherever on the banner. Therefore, resize and place it as desired.

Step 5:

We may alter the backdrop colour to whatever we want since we are utilising a product picture with a transparent background. In the layers panel on the bottom right of the screen, click on the backdrop layer.

Step 6:

Click anywhere on the picture using the Paint Bucket tool (make sure Layer 1 is still selected). This effectively converts the backdrop to black.

Step 7:

Click and drag the rectangle tool over the picture. Take note that certain tools are hidden inside submenus. Click and hold on the tool icon to see the sub menu. Certain tools have submenus, whereas others do not.

Step 8:

Finally, go to File > Save As and select JPG from the dropdown to save the file as a jpg to use in Adverts and advertising needs.
