After you have bought your domain and hosting plan from Siteground.co.uk, you will need to install SSL security certificate. Follow the following steps and make your website secure with an SSL certificate.
Step 1:
Go to Siteground.co.uk
Step 2:
Sign in to your ID through which you bought your hosting plan and domain name
Step 3:
Click on the ‘Websites’ tab on the top > You will find the domain you just bought.
Step 4:
Click on ‘Site tools’ on your domain.
Step 5:
Click on ‘Security’ on the left dashboard
Step 6:
Navigate to SSL manager on the dropdown menu.
Step 7:
Select the domain you want to install the SSL certificate on.
Step 8:
Select the SSL certificate of your budget and choice from the ‘Let’s Encrypt’ drop down menu.
Step 9:
Click on ‘Get’ and wait for a few minutes till the SSL certificate gets installed on your website.
Step 10:
Navigate to ‘HTTPS Enforce’ on the left dashboard.
Step 11:
Turn ‘HTTPS Enforce’ on next to your domain name.
Congratulations! Now your website is SSL certificate secured and your audience can now input their emails and credit card information with ease on your website.
