Today’s lesson will teach you how to create Stairs in Adobe Illustrator. This artwork may be used to create infographics for a business. The Rectangle Tool and the Scale Tool will be used in Adobe Illustrator to create Stairs.
Step 1:
We will begin by opening Adobe Illustrator. Make a new document and choose the Rectangle Tool.
Step 2:
Now, pick the rectangle and, using the Alt key, duplicate it and put it immediately above the original rectangle. Fill in the remaining colour hues in this new rectangle.
Step 3:
Select the second rectangle and, in the Tool Panel, double-click the Scale Tool. On the artboard, a conversation box will emerge.
Step 4:
Select the Non-Uniform Scale option in the dialogue box. Set the horizontal scale to 100% and the vertical scale to 65%. Check the Preview box and then click OK.
Step 4:
Now, using the Alt key, select both rectangles and make a duplicate copy of them. Place the duplicate copy of the rectangles just over the original.
Step 5:
Similarly, with your Stairs, you may add as many steps as you like.
