In this tutorial I will teach you the fastest way to create background to text in Adobe Photoshop.
Step 1:
Choose an image

It is recommended putting the letters closer together to prevent large gaps between them. Click between each pair of characters with the Type tool and use the shortcut alt + left cursor key to move the letters closer together.
Step 4:
To convert the background layer to a normal layer, double-click it and move it above the type layer. Create a clipping mask by selecting Layer > Create Clipping Mask, or by using the shortcut Command Option G / Ctrl Alt G. The Layers Panel should now appear as follows – the little arrow to the left of the background indicates that the type is being used as a clipping mask.
