Among the numerous applications for the Auto-blending Layers command is the ability to blend several pictures of a scene with various regions in focus to create a composite image with a shallow depth of field. In this tutorial I will teach you how to combine 2 images.
Step 1:
Copy or paste the pictures you wish to merge into a single document.
Step 2:
Choose which layers you wish to combine.
Step 3:
Layers may be aligned manually or automatically using the Auto-Align Layers command.
Step 4:
Select Edit > Auto-Blend Layers while the layers are still selected.
Step 5:
To modify the hue and tone for blending, choose Seamless Tones And Colours.
Step 6:
Click the OK button.
