How to Add colours and strokes to a selection in Adobe Photoshop?

Adding colours and stroke to a selection is not that difficult in Adobe Photoshop, in this tutorial I will teach you how you can easily do it yourself.

Step 1:
I will draw a rectangle and I will right-click, I will have fill and stroke options.

Step 2:

You can select the film. Pick a colour and click OK. The colour you selected will add it to the background, and that means that you can’t use the move tool to just move the rectangle or resize it.

Step 3:
Before drawing and adding colour, we will have to go to the layers panel and create a new layer.

Step 4:

Make sure the new layer selected, and now I can go and select create a rectangle, right click, fill and select the colour you want from the colour picker and then click OK.

Step 5:

Now in a new layer, decide if it will be in the centre, inside or outside. Keep the blending as is normal with 100%.

Voilà! You have easily added colours and strokes to your selection in Adobe Photoshop!
