How To Create Backgrounds With Opacity And Blending Mode In Adobe Photoshop?

A layer group’s blending mode is set to Pass Through by default, which implies that the group has no blending characteristics of its own. When you alter the blending mode for a group, you are essentially changing the order in which the picture components are assembled.  In this tutorial, I will teach you how to correctly blend images to create backgrounds.

Step 1:

Create a document of your desired settings.

Step 2:

Add your images in layers.

Step 3:

Layers do not have a Clear blending mode. Colour Dodge, Colour Burn, Darken, Lighten, Difference, Exclusion, Subtract, and Divide modes are inaccessible for Lab pictures.

Step 4:

From the Layers panel, choose a layer or group.

Step 5:

Select a Blend Mode option from the Layers panel’s pop-up menu.

Step 6:

Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options, and then choose a Blend Mode option from the popup menu.

Scroll through the Blend Mode pop-up menu to examine how various choices appear on your picture. On the canvas, Photoshop shows a live preview of blend modes. I hope you found this tutorial easy!
