How To Add Letters, Shapes and Masks In Adobe Photoshop?

In this tutorial I will teach you how to add Letters, shapes and masks in Adobe Photoshop project. Let’s begin:

Step 1:

Click on the Type Tool and add a letter; I added the letter ‘S’ and coloured it red.

Step 2:

Click CMD/Ctrl + T and add distortion, opacity and shapes.

Step 3:

Hold shift and add circles on the letter.

Step 4:

Press Shift + Backspace and add different colours.

Step 5:

Go to the layers panel and convert the vector text to shape.

Step 6:

Hold CMD/CTRL and select the layers and click Merge Layers.

Step 7:

You can duplicate layers to convert the background of the text same as the background through the clipping tool.

Step 8:

Go in fx and use drop shadow to add spectacular effect.
